As a Security Officer - Media Facility Unarmed in Richmond, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. You will help to deter security‑related incidents by maintaining a visible presence, conducting regular patrols, and providing exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and report any irregularities or security‑related concerns according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security‑related matters as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly in accordance with company and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
