As a Security Officer – Unarmed Government Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including government. You will deter security‑related incidents by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service while responding to situations as they arise.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

• Mon 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thu 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and with sound judgment, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activities, hazards, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unwanted activity and foster a secure environment.
• Collaborate with site staff and visitors on security-related questions and concerns.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
