Security Officer - Government Facility Unarmed Patrol located in Richmond, VA
. As a Part‑time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, primarily Government. Your role will involve monitoring and patrolling designated government locations, deterring incidents through regular patrols, interacting with the public, and providing exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s core values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

• Provide customer service, carry out security‑related procedures, and respond to opportunities or emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to deter unwanted activity.
• Document and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
• Remain alert to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior within the location.
• Assist with access control measures and visitor management as required by site‑specific protocols.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required only for driving positions.
