Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Retail Security Officer supports store management in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees. This weekend role focuses on monitoring store activity, supporting loss prevention, responding to alarms, and delivering professional customer service.

• Monitor store activity to help maintain a safe, secure environment for customers and employees
• Observe activity for suspicious behavior and report concerns to store management
• Respond to exit door alarms and politely verify receipts when an alarm is activated
• Conduct routine patrols of the store and surrounding areas
• Maintain a visible, professional security presence that supports store loss prevention efforts
• Document incidents, suspicious activity, and security concerns in written reports
• Work closely with store management and staff to address safety and security issues
• Provide professional customer service while upholding store policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Virginia DCJS unarmed security officer registration, or ability to obtain one
• Strong observation and written reporting skills
• Professional, customer-focused demeanor
