Burlington Capital is currently reviewing applications for a Maintenance Supervisor position for our apartment community located in Richmond, Virginia. We pride ourselves on the quality living experience we provide to our residents and are looking for individuals with demonstrated abilities in leadership, maintenance, repairs and customer service.

• $25.00 per hour or more; eligible for overtime

• Must be available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
• On‑call rotation with the Virginia maintenance team on evenings and weekends (schedule to be discussed during interviews)

• Lead, supervise and perform maintenance and repair work as directed (painting, cleaning carpets, appliance repair, etc.)
• Lead, supervise and perform preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and assist with plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, roofs, carpentry and elevator repairs
• Assist in other duties as requested by management
• Maintenance team members are required to be “on call”
• Control expenses to meet budgeted guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Participate in all resident promotions and/or functions as required by the property manager
• Follow all safety and liability guidelines as outlined

• Work‑level knowledge of a property’s significant maintenance needs, such as HVAC, pool maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
• Experience in a supervisory role in maintenance or equivalent field required
• HVAC certification required
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and good driving record required
• Ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision
• Effective communication skills
• Positive interaction with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public
