What do our Pest Control Technicians do?

The primary purpose of this role is to perform industry‑leading pest management services for residential customers. You will identify, eliminate, and prevent pest infestations through inspections, appropriate treatments (pesticides, baits, traps), and client communication, while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities (not exhaustive)

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest‑free environment.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand our product base to new customers.
• Ensure that all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Operate a company‑provided service vehicle safely (routine maintenance provided).

Essential Job Functions

• Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, and narrow aisles.
• Work around animals, insects, and termites.
• Handle mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals (training provided).
• Work both indoors and outdoors in the local climate wearing company‑provided weather gear.
• Perform frequent mobility tasks—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator.

What do you need?

• Clean, shaven face (necessary for rebreather seal).
• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license for the state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
• Required licenses/certificates per federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us).
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday and weekends as required.
• Willingness to learn and become knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills (following instructions for product mixing).
• Customer‑facing experience preferred.
