Your RoleAs a Mitigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring peace of mind to clients during challenging times. You will help assess, mitigate, and prevent further damage to properties impacted by disasters, ensuring quality and efficiency while adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Perform water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire/smoke damage mitigation.
- Conduct thorough damage assessments and document the scope of work.
- Set up, monitor, and maintain equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and reassurance throughout the restoration process.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites and company vehicles.
- Uphold Paul Davis Restoration’s standards of excellence and customer care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in challenging environments, including exposure to water, heat, and debris.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs consistently.
- When necessary: ability to work nights, weekends and overtime.
- Customer service experience preferred; restoration experience is a plus.
- IICRC certifications in Water, Fire, or Mold Restoration are a bonus but not required.
