Managed Generator Services LLC (MGS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Generator Technician (A‑Level) to join our Field Operations team. This is not your average technician role—we're looking for a true leader in the field who can independently diagnose, repair, and maintain generators up to and beyond 2000 kW. • Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of engines, electrical systems, and generator controllers.
• Conduct load bank testing and system commissioning.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Handle emergency repairs and after‑hours diagnostics when needed.
• Support new equipment installations and major repairs.
• Document work clearly, communicate with the office, and ensure job completion to standard. Mentor junior technicians and lead by example in the field.

• 5+ years of hands‑on generator service experience required.
• Master‑level knowledge of generator systems, including major brands (Kohler, Generac, Cummins/Onan).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Willingness to travel to out of town jobsites.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in diverse field environments.
• EPA, EGSA, and OEM certifications are a strong plus.
• Strong time management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Full‑time, 4-day work week

Hybrid role; requires fieldwork and occasional travel. Base location will be coordinated depending on project and candidate location.
