Security Installation Technician

Loyal Source is looking for a skilled Security Installation Technician for an employment opportunity in Richmond, Virginia.

This role involves working on a combination of hospitality, industrial, and retail projects around the Richmond area. As a Security Installation Technician, you will leverage your expertise in commercial security installation, specifically related to access control and CCTV, to ensure project success. Initially, you will use your own vehicle for transportation and will receive mileage reimbursement after traveling 45 miles. For distant or overnight projects, you have the option to ride with other technicians.

• Install security, access control, and CCTV systems in commercial settings.
• Collaborate on hospitality, industrial, and retail projects.
• Manage travel needs, including using a personal vehicle initially and coordinating with team for distant projects.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in installing security, access control, and CCTV in commercial settings, with some programming experience.
• DCJS certification is required (or possibility to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to provide basic hand tools.
• Must pass a background/drug screen.

• Experience with fire systems is a plus.
• Lift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to utilize own work-related vehicle for the first 6 months.

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, twist, and use hands; reach, push, pull, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
• Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color perception.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Occasional overnight travel may be required, with a per diem of up to $75/day and lodging paid for)

Medical, dental, vision, PTO, and holidays.

$30 per hour.
