Buildforce is actively hiring experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians for a night shift project in Richmond, VA. To perform commercial electrical installations and modifications on a remodel project during night hours. The role requires journeyman-level proficiency in conduit work, wiring, and troubleshooting, with minimal supervision.

• Hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc.)
• Conduit benders and testers
• EMT conduit
• Electrical wiring and cabling
• Light fixtures and panels
• Connectors, junction boxes, and switches

• Install and bend conduit with precision
• Run wiring and perform terminations
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Ensure all work meets local and national electrical code standards
• Follow safety protocols and procedures on night shift
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Communicate effectively with site managers and team members

Competitive

Salary Package:

Up to $32/hour (based on experience)

Per Diem: $30 per day for eligible travelers

• Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience (Required)
• Must be able to work independently and read electrical schematics
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must provide own standard electrical tools
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be able to work night shift
