The selected candidate will work as a Commercial Service Technician for M.C. Dean’s Service & National Accounts Group, which operates 24/7 - 365. We are known for providing The Ultimate Customer Experience, with world-class support, training, and a family-oriented culture focused on customer satisfaction, quality, and safety.

This is a regional service position requiring regular travel within your area. You will be responsible for electrical installations, servicing basic electrical equipment and systems following all applicable plans, specifications, and codes. You must resolve customer electrical problems professionally and safely, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices per blueprints and building plans.
• Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining EMS systems, smart breakers, electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.
• Inspecting installation sites, studying work orders, building plans, and manuals to determine materials and procedures.
• Testing electrical systems and circuit continuity with test devices.
• Diagnosing system malfunctions using test equipment and hand tools, locating causes, and correcting issues.
• Directing and training workers in installation, maintenance, or repair tasks.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the commercial electrical service industry with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, as ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle may be required.

• Excellent knowledge of electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Proficient in using smart devices and web-based applications.
• Committed to high-quality work and excellence.
• Wears OSHA-approved work attire, including pants and shirts covering shoulders.
• Punctual, team-oriented, and committed to safety.

• Can lift at least 100 pounds at once and 60 pounds for extended periods.
• Can relocate a 12-foot ladder independently.
• Works at heights up to 60 feet, climbing scaffolds, lifts, and ladders.
• Performs physical activities such as walking, climbing, lifting, and reaching routinely.
• Possesses good vision, color perception, and communication skills in English.
• Recognizes problems and applies general rules to solve them.
• Details close-range vision and auditory comprehension.

• Journeyman's license or equivalent.
• Additional certifications like Lift and Aerial Training, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30.
