Job Title: Field Service Technician – UPS Systems (Critical Power)

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 annually + benefits

Role Overview:

As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of maintaining uptime for critical power systems. You’ll perform service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on UPS systems across the Richmond area, ensuring clients’ operations remain uninterrupted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of UPS systems and related critical power equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to quickly restore system functionality.
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate technical findings to management and clients.
  • Assist with system upgrades, retrofits, and commissioning as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company standards while on‑site.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience working with UPS systems or critical power equipment. OEM experience is a plus.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
