Theidealcandidateisdependable,detail-oriented,andcommittedtodeliveringhigh-qualityworkmanshipwhileprovidingexceptionalservicetocustomers.
- Diagnose,troubleshoot,andrepairelectricalsystems,equipment,andcomponentsincommercialfacilities.
- Performservicecalls,maintenance,andrepairsonelectricalwiring,panels,lighting systems,controls,andpowerdistributionequipment.
- Readandinterpretblueprints,drawings,schematics,andspecificationstoidentifyissuesanddeterminerepairsolutions.
- EnsureallelectricalworkcomplieswithNECrequirementsandapplicablelocalandstatecodes.
- Performpreventivemaintenanceinspectionsandidentifypotentialelectricalissuesbeforefailuresoccur.
- Installandreplaceelectricalpanels,conduit,switches,receptacles,lightingfixtures,andotherelectricalcomponentsasneeded.
- Communicaterepairrecommendationsandprojectupdatesclearlyandprofessionallywithcustomers.
- Collaboratewithprojectmanagers,foremen,apprentices,andothertradestoensureefficientworkflowandcustomersatisfaction.
- Maintainaccurateservicerecords,work orders,and documentation.
- Maintain tools,equipment,andcompanyvehiclesingoodworkingcondition.
- Adheretoallcompanysafetypolicies,procedures,andindustrybestpractices.
- Minimumof3yearsofcommercialelectricalexperiencepreferred.
- Strongknowledgeofelectricaltheory,the National Electrical Code (NEC),andstandardindustrypractices.
- Experiencetroubleshootingandservicingcommercialelectricalsystems.
- Abilitytoreadandinterprettechnicaldrawings,blueprints,and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solvingskillsandattentiontodetail.
- Strongcustomerserviceandcommunicationskills.
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandmanagemultipleservicecallseffectively.
- Mustbeabletoliftupto
50lbs,climb ladders,andworkinvariousenvironments. - Valid driver'slicenseandcleandrivingrecord.
- Journeyman Electricianlicensepreferredbutnotrequired.
