Overview
Virginia Department of Elections (ELECT) is looking to hire a .Net Programmer. You will be working with our more established contractors and staff to focus on several web and Windows applications used both by internal ELECT staff and constituents of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
ELECT uses mobile and responsive design practices, so a familiarity with these methodologies would be a plus.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain web and Windows applications using C#, .NET Framework & Core, MVC & Web Forms, Web Services; SQL, Git SCM, and Java script.
- Collaborate with contractors and staff to support internal ELECT systems for staff and constituents.
- Leverage Jira, Azure Dev Ops, and application security practices to deliver secure, reliable software.
- Experience with C#, .NET Framework & Core, MVC & Web Forms, Web Services
- SQL, Git SCM, and Java Script
- Experience with Jira and Azure Dev Ops
- Understanding of application security; familiarity with mobile and responsive design
