This position is located in our Richmond, VA office and offers a schedule of Monday-Thursday in office and Friday remote.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of software developers in building applications and platforms using modern Typescript, React, HTML, .NET Core, SQL Server, and AWS technologies.
- Apply sound quality management methods, tools and techniques to create and support defect‑free application software that meets the needs of the organization.
- Take complete ownership of product launch activities and coordinate closely with Dev Ops to monitor application performance and availability.
- Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and develop practices.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years’ experience in web development and database technologies.
- 3+ years’ experience building large distributed, API‑driven systems.
- Strong understanding of OOP and software design patterns.
- Experience using JavaScript, C#, SQL Server, and AWS technologies.
- Experience leading technical teams, working through complex requirements, and offering relevant, timely technical solutions.
- Experience with Document Data Systems (Dynamo, Open Search) a plus.
- Comfortable working across the stack with Node.js on the server-side.
- Experience with AWS S3, Lambda, SQS, Kafka, Redis a plus.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration a plus.
- Experience working on a SOX compliant team a plus.
