Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our microservices-based B2B ecommerce platform using Spring Boot and React. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering best practices, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and a passion for leveraging cutting‑edge technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

The Senior Engineer will also play a strategic role in shaping the platform’s technical direction, mentoring team members, and influencing cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and robust microservices using Spring Boot and React to power our B2B ecommerce platform.
  • Lead architectural decisions and contribute to the design of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
  • Evaluate and integrate generative AI capabilities into platform strategy to improve development workflows and product capabilities.
  • Lead initiatives involving advanced AI frameworks such as the MCP Protocol, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and A2A Protocol, guiding the team in practical implementation.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate our platform with ERP systems, data warehouses, and other essential applications.
  • Collaborate with product management to refine feature requirements and specifications.
  • Influence cross‑functional teams and drive consensus on technical solutions.
  • Drive AI adoption across engineering teams and define standards for AI‑assisted development.
  • Architect and oversee connectivity strategies for LLM agents via APIs, enabling robust multi‑agent collaboration and seamless integration.
  • Implement and advocate for best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure high availability and scalability of the platform.
  • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid‑level engineers to foster technical growth and team development.
  • Evaluate and optimize latency, scalability, and cost considerations when integrating AI services into production systems.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires 7+ years’ experience in software development with a focus on Spring Boot and React.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands‑on engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, HTML/CSS/JS, RDBMS, REST, Graph

    QL, Git.
  • Foundational knowledge of HTTP, cookies, sessions, AJAX, and browser behavior.
  • Familiarity with Elastic, Redis, React, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Python.
  • Familiarity with the MCP Protocol and RAG based AI agents.
  • Exposure to LLM agent connectivity via APIs.
  • Exposure to Kafka, change data capture, and data replication processes is a plus.
  • Understanding of microservices‑based architectures.
  • Basic familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Awareness of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards.
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S., now or in the future, without the support from McKesson.
  • Relocation is NOT budgeted for this position.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience designing and building large‑scale ecommerce applications.
  • Experience with B2B ecommerce platforms.

10‑15%

Base Pay Range

$119,100 – $198,500
