• Lead a portfolio of technology projects and manage a team of developers with expertise in distributed microservices and full‑stack systems.
• Share passion for emerging tech, mentor peers, and occasionally code or evaluate code.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud‑based solutions that empower millions of Americans.
• Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Type Script, SQL, Python, Go, HTML/CSS, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and AWS services.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 6 years of software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply)
• At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• At least 4 years of people‑management experience

• Master’s Degree
• 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following:
  JavaScript, Java, Type Script, SQL, Python, or Go
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
• 4+ years of experience in open‑source frameworks
• 7+ years of people‑management experience
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Salary ranges by location:
Chicago, IL: $204,900 – $233,800;
McLean, VA: $225,400 – $257,200;
Richmond, VA: $204,900 – $233,800.

Performance‑based incentive compensation may include cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives.
