Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain database solutions supporting critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and data analysis. This role requires collaboration with application teams to deliver high-quality, scalable database solutions across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain database solutions, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
* Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure performance and reliability.
* Conduct performance tuning using execution plans, indexes, and partitions.
* Collaborate with application teams throughout the SDLC, from analysis to production support.
* Handle bulk data processing, ETL logic, and data transformations.
* Implement error handling, exception management, and logging frameworks.
* Utilize version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or SVN for code management.

Required Qualifications

* Experience:

** 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
** Technical

Skills:

** Proficiency with Oracle 11g/12c/19c or later. Strong skills in SQL query development, optimization, performance tuning, and relational database design. Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting and job scheduling tools like Autosys or Control-M. Experience integrating PL/SQL with Java, .NET, or middleware applications.

* Education:

** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments using tools like Jira.
* Familiarity with IDEs such as SQL Developer, Toad, or Data Grip.
* Experience in financial services, banking, or other high-volume transactional environments.
* Knowledge of data warehousing concepts like star schemas and fact/dimension tables.
* Experience with No

SQL or cloud databases (e.g., AWS RDS, DynamoDB, Azure SQL).
* Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to best-practice standards.
