Group Exercise Instructor

Job Summary: Responsible for teaching quality Group Exercise classes in accordance with club and industry standards.

• Provide safe and effective Group Exercise classes that start and end on time, following the scheduled format.
• Motivate members to achieve their fitness goals through positive encouragement in an enjoyable, non-competitive environment.
• Arrive 10 minutes prior to class and stay afterwards to address member questions.
• Follow safety and effectiveness guidelines per company and industry standards.
• Complete all administrative paperwork accurately and timely, including scheduling and attendance records.
• Arrange qualified substitutions when necessary and notify relevant staff.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain relevant certifications (ACE, AFFA) and CPR, providing updates as needed.
• Report incidents and equipment issues promptly.
• Dress appropriately and project a positive, professional image.
• Align with the company's Mission, Vision, and Code of Ethics.
• Meet class attendance goals set by management.
• Promote club programs and make class announcements during sessions.
