Basketball Specialist - Tuckahoe YMCA

The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is currently seeking part time sports enthusiasts to help with our basketball program! Looking for a Basketball Specialist who has either played or refereed basketball before. This part time position starts at $14.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. We are looking for candidates that have the ability to work weeknights and Saturdays. Must have basketball experience.

Free individual Y membership with employment.

Basketball instructors will help develop and implement safe and enjoyable basketball clinics. Basketball instructors should be available to work weekday evenings and weekends to help facilitate basketball practices, games, and clinics. Ideal basketball instructors will be creating lesson plans for youth ages 4-11, setting up and cleaning up materials & providing leadership to other basketball staff.

Basketball specialists must know the rules of basketball, work well with young people, be able to multitask, and communicate effectively with parents and children.
