Part-Time Swim Team Coach

• Provide Head Group Coach with ideas for group newsletters, move‑ups and retention programs (i.e., We will Miss You Cards, etc.)
• Development of appropriate and positive working relationships with all swimmers, parents, coaches and SwimRVA staff & clients.
• Provide thoughts and feedback to Head Group Coach related to practice, swimmer developments and season training cycles.
• Participate in staff meetings when necessary.
• Direct on‑deck coaching responsibilities for various group practices.

• Energetic, dynamic, and positive leader who is effective in an independent environment.
• Possesses strong leadership, organizational skills.
• Experience with a wide range of swimming levels (learn‑to‑swim through Olympic qualifiers).
• 3+ years related experience as a coach or swimmers, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• A desire to grow professionally through aquatics

• Part‑time position
• Starting salary at $16.00/hour
