The Operations Specialist is responsible for resolving inventory, LTL, UPS, and warehouse transfer discrepancies and maintaining accurate inventory records and procedures.

• Assists in running and implementing NxTrend reports such as ICZTI, ICRZU and others.
• Participates in and runs physical inventories.
• Manages factories and LTL/UPS freight claims for the region.
• Handles all warehouse transfer exceptions, tracks, and manages open orders, warehouse transfers, and purchase orders for assigned locations.
• Maintains and updates inventory records; creates efficient and accurate inventory management procedures; reconciles inventories to book records and adjusts when necessary.
• Coordinated and verifies issues related to damaged, defective, or mis‑shipped goods to customers.
• Assists material handlers when inventory discrepancies are identified during picking or other warehouse processes.
• Performs cycle counts of inventory or coordinates others to perform cycle counts.
• Researches inventory discrepancies and applies adjustments with proper documentation and management approval (physical and virtual research).
• Communicates resolution of issues to leadership teams.

• Has strong written communication skills, including correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Maintains a high level of knowledge of distribution and fulfillment warehouse operations.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Four (4) years of warehouse or related experience, with at least two years specific to inventory control.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices; strong math and spreadsheet skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems (preferred).
• Ability to multi‑task, be detail oriented, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
