Warehouse Distribution Manager

** We are looking for a Warehouse Distribution Manager to be responsible for continuously improving the warehouse operations to ensure attainment of company goals. Oversees the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods. Supervises members of the warehouse teams; train, work allocation and problem resolution. Primary contact and responsibility for all Warehouse Department functions.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

Ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the warehouse.

What are the basic Requires at least a High School diploma preferably a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain or an equivalent combination of education, and at least 15 years of training and experience required.

A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Must have experience in warehouse management

An in-depth knowledge and understanding of warehouse, inventory and manufacturing processes and knowledge of MRP is required along with a demonstrated understanding of warehousing best practices, and knowledge of material control.

This position must demonstrate strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, team development, and technical skills along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management within and outside the company.

Solid math skills. English and Metric System - e.g., units and measurements: length, time, fractions and decimals.

Able to engage employees to understand their role, utilize level of expertise in various processes and express their value to the organization.

Ability to reach with arms and hands; bend, kneel, crouch and/or crawl as well as the ability to see and hear.
