At our Croxley Green branch, the Studio Operations Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining an organised, welcoming and inspiring studio environment for both students and the teaching team. The role ensures the studio runs smoothly behind the scenes by managing stock, preparing teaching resources, maintaining operational systems and supporting the Branch Manager with day-to-day studio operations. This enables our teachers to focus on delivering exceptional lessons and supporting students' long-term artistic development.

Hours & Schedule

Term Time:
This is a part-time role of 15–20 hours per week, with the exact schedule agreed during the recruitment process based on the needs of the studio.

School Holidays (14 weeks/year):
The same number of hours will be worked Monday to Friday, between 9am–5pm, with the exact daily schedule varying according to the needs of the studio.

Salary Starting Rate: £13.22 per hour

Post-Probation Rate: Increases to £13.70 per hour upon successful completion of your probation period.

Start of the Role: End of August 2026; flexible for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities Studio Operations
  • Create and maintain organised systems for student artwork, teaching resources and studio storage.
  • Monitor stock levels, order materials within budget and prepare teaching resources, project templates and promotional materials.
  • Maintain an inspiring studio environment through attractive displays, seasonal decorations and high standards of organisation.
  • Carry out routine compliance checks, coordinate basic maintenance and liaise with external contractors where required.
Administration & Customer Support
  • Support the Branch Manager with day-to-day administration and maintain accurate studio records and booking systems.
  • Respond professionally to customer enquiries by email, phone and in person, helping to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Support the teaching team by ensuring classrooms, resources and materials are fully prepared for lessons.
  • Follow safeguarding, GDPR and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Has experience in administration, operations, stock management or a similar role.
  • Communicates confidently and professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Works proactively, takes initiative and enjoys improving systems and processes.
  • Can prioritise multiple tasks while maintaining high standards.
  • Is confident using computers for emails, administration and booking systems.
