Position Overview:

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in our client's success by providing accurate and competitive estimates for projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including data centers and steel frame sheds. This role is based in Chorleywood and offers a competitive salary package of £60,000 - £85,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and specifications.

Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, and other project costs.

Conduct thorough cost analysis and risk assessment.

Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.

Provide recommendations for cost-saving strategies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and pricing.

Work closely with the bid and project management teams.

Support the development of winning proposals.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in the construction industry, specifically within steel frame sheds and data center projects.

Strong knowledge of construction estimating software and tools.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
