Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire About the Role We are seeking a committed and inspirational English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Rickmansworth area from September 2026. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a skilled educator to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3-KS4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons. Foster a positive learning environment that supports student progress. Assess and track student achievement, providing clear feedback. Contribute to the development of the English curriculum. Take part in departmental meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives. What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent. Strong English subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to inspire students of all abilities to achieve their best. A collaborative and proactive approach to professional practice.
