Location: Rickmansworth based, hybrid working
A well established and growing consultancy within the UK water sector is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of long term projects from their Rickmansworth office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is ready to take on greater responsibility, influence project outcomes and play an active role in developing junior commercial staff within a supportive consultancy environment.
The roleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for clean and wastewater projects across the full project lifecycle. You will lead cost management activities, manage contract administration and provide strategic commercial advice to both clients and internal project teams.
The role requires strong NEC contract expertise, including the management of compensation events, change control, forecasting and commercial reporting. You will also provide mentoring and technical support to junior Quantity Surveyors, helping to raise commercial capability across the team.

- Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level
- Background within water, utilities or civil engineering
- Strong NEC contract experience is essential

- Able to attend the Rickmansworth office 2 to 3 days per week
£65,000 to £75,000 depending on experience, plus a strong benefits package and continued support with chartership and professional development.
