** Responsibilities
* ** Lead the delivery of MEP works across five shafts, associated head houses, and two portal buildings.
* Manage the full lifecycle from detailed design through mobilisation and construction delivery.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
* Ensure MEP works are delivered safely, to programme, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
* Review and manage detailed design outputs for constructability and efficiency.
* Oversee contractor performance and programme adherence.
* Manage risks, opportunities, interfaces, and control changes throughout the project.
* Monitor progress, report milestones, and implement recovery plans when required.
* Support procurement, commissioning, testing, and handover activities.
* Produce reports and updates for senior management and key stakeholders.
** Must-have Requirements
*** Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale MEP works.
* Background in major infrastructure or complex projects such as rail, tunnelling, utilities, or energy.
* In-depth knowledge of:  + Mechanical systems  + Electrical systems  + Building services  + Public health systems  + Testing and commissioning
* Experience managing full project cycles through design, mobilisation, and construction phases.
* Strong capabilities in contractor and multidisciplinary team coordination.
* Excellent programme and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in regulated environments and strong leadership skills.
** Nice-to-have Skills
*** Previous experience on HS2 or similar major rail or tunnelling projects.
* Exposure to MEP delivery in shafts, portals, tunnels, or major infrastructure assets.
* Degree in Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
* Chartered status or working towards it.
* Familiarity with NEC contracts and project controls processes.

** Maple Cross, Hertfordshire (South Portal Site)   Full-time on-site role   Contract duration:
** August 2026 to late 2028
