Resourcer - Construction (Blue Collar / Trades & Labour)

Location: Rickmansworth (Hybrid)

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 basic plus uncapped commission

We are working with an established construction recruitment agency based in Rickmansworth that is looking to appoint a Resourcer to support its busy blue-collar division.

The business operates as part of a wider recruitment group and offers a stable, well-structured environment with an experienced leadership team and a strong client base.

The Role

The successful candidate will support a predominantly temporary desk, sourcing and delivering skilled and semi-skilled labour into live construction projects. This is a delivery-focused role with the opportunity to progress into a full 360 consultant position over time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sourcing and screening candidates within the trades and labour market
• Managing candidate availability and maintaining labour pipelines
• Supporting consultants with live temporary requirements
• Ensuring compliance and candidate documentation is kept up to date
• Maintaining regular contact with placed workers

The Market

• Trades and labour recruitment including labourers, electricians, plumbers and other site operatives
• Clients include house builders and national fit-out contractors delivering projects for major retail and commercial brands
• Predominantly London-based projects with some national coverage
• Approximately 90% temporary recruitment

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Resourcer or delivery consultant (construction experience preferred but not essential)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, temporary recruitment environment
• Strong communication skills and work ethic
• Desire to build a long-term career within recruitment

Package

• Basic salary between £28,000 and £32,000 depending on experience
• Uncapped commission
• Clear progression and long-term career development
