Basic Function
Kern Community College District accepts applications for part-time, hourly faculty pools on a continuous basis. Qualified applicants will be contacted as needs arise within the department. Applications remain active for up to two years.

This position involves providing counseling services at the Indian Wells Valley site in Ridgecrest, with possible duties at other campuses or online. Responsibilities include student recruitment, curriculum development, and participation in professional activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Must meet qualifications for both EOPS and DSPS programs, including relevant degrees and experience as detailed in the job posting. Equivalency requests can be submitted with supporting documentation.

Knowledge & Abilities
Candidates should demonstrate broad knowledge in counseling and the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population, develop curricula, communicate effectively, and utilize technology.
