Position Type: Full-Time/Exempt
Salary: $80K-$90K (depending on experience)
Work Location: Fully onsite.
Essential Functions:
- Candidate will be required to create electrical wiring diagrams and technical data packages for various small UAS.
- Candidate may be required to develop an electrical design for power management within a small UAS.
- Candidate will be required to code in C, C++, and Python to create logs and database for maintenance and flight operations.
- Candidate will be required to perform extensive testing and debugging of electrical systems and software APIs.
- Candidate will also be required to integrate software and hardware into COTS UAS for flight operations.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Required:
- 1-2 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
- Must work well independently as well as within a team environment.
- Must have solid oral and written communication skills and must be willing and able to travel, as required, to support military test events.
Desired:
- Experience working with UAS.
Education:
HS Diploma or GED required, Electrical Engineering degree (BS) desired.
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
