We’re looking for a Medical Secretary/Scheduling Coordinator to support the Pediatric team at our Rural Health Clinic. In this role, you’ll provide key clerical and scheduling support to ensure smooth patient admissions and care coordination. You’ll also maintain important documentation, manage tasks independently, and contribute to a positive patient experience in a family-focused environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform specialized medical secretarial and scheduling tasks
Support patient admission and treatment coordination
Maintain documentation accuracy, including ABNs and MSP reports
Utilize Accu Reg, Microsoft Word, and Excel for scheduling and clerical duties
Assist with general administrative support in the Rural Health Clinic
This role involves working closely with our pediatric care team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent
Clerical experience in an outpatient medical setting preferred
Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
Ability to manage time and tasks independently
Minimum 25 WPM typing without errors
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel)
Ability to pass required tests: medical terminology (70%), spelling (80%)
Accu Reg and ABN/MSP documentation accuracy requirements
CPR certification (or willing to obtain within 2 months of hire)
Strong English communication skills
