Our client is a non-profit Hospital that has earned recognition from the AMA as a "Joy in Medicine" organization. It seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the healthcare team and ensure excellence in the clinical practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care.

This full-service hospital has 25 inpatient beds, a 99-bed skilled nursing facility, clinics, and other outpatient services.

What You'll Do

• You will be responsible and accountable for patient care provided by assigned nursing staff, ensuring that an individualized care plan is provided for all patients and their families.
• Ensure excellence in the clinical practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care.
• Responsible and accountable for patient care provided by assigned nursing staff
• Provide leadership in a positive direction consistent with the policies, goals, objectives, mission, and vision of the Hospital and Nursing Departments.
• Ensure an individualized care plan is provided for all patients and their families.
• Kern County Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) certification within 1 year of employment and maintained thereafter
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of employment and maintained thereafter

Schedule and Shift Details

• Full Time
• 12-hour shifts
• Night shift: 7 pm - 7 am

What You'll Need

• Associate degree or higher
• Must have2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Acute Care
  • Emergency Department (ED)
• ALL of the following current valid licenses/certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in California (CA)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS)
• Night shift Differential - 15%
