Saalex is seeking a Motor Vehicle Dispatcher in Ridgecrest, CA
. Position Type:Full-Time

Salary:$23.10 per hour

Work Location:Onsite.

Essential Functions:

  • Check all foul patterns for the day’s events ensuring no manned sites are in the exclusion areas without a Range Safety sign off.
  • Ensure all personnel entering ranges follow the safety, security, and environmental regulations set forth by the Naval Air Weapons Station standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with Test Conductors and Test Managers all testing areas, amount of personnel required and location of personnel during testing.
  • Gather information on items, or equipment used for testing to ascertain the foul area or areas that will be restricted from non-test personnel.
  • Coordinate with road guard scheduler to ensure road guards will be on time and in position to keep non-test personnel out of test area and evacuate non-test personnel before testing begins.
  • Coordinate with on-site safety target personnel ensuring all test personnel are cleared to a designated safe area controlling movement during test.
  • Coordinate with Airspace Surveillance Control when Aircraft Survivability, S.N.O.R.T., or Explosive Ordinance Detachment require air clearance for testing or detonation of explosives and restrict personnel into those areas when needed.

Required:

  • Knowledge of NAWCWD North and South Ranges.
  • Familiarity with radio procedures and conduct.
  • This position requires working nights, weekends and holidays and overtime.

Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include

US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
