Tax Associate​/Tax Senior

Our client is a small, family-owned CPA firm in Ridgefield, CT with a tight-knit team of five. They have built a loyal client base over the years and are looking to add a tax professional who wants more than just a seat at a desk. This is a rare chance to join a firm where you will work directly with ownership every day and have a real say in where the practice goes from here.

• Genuine path to Partner. Ownership is planning a transition over the next five years and intends to stay on during and after it. They are looking for someone ambitious who wants to grow into a leadership and ownership role.
• Flexibility that is real, not just a line in a job post. Hybrid schedule, come and go as you need to, as long as the work gets done.
• Reasonable hours. Some Saturdays may be needed during busy season, but the firm works hard to keep hours manageable year round.
• Direct access to the owners and to clients from day one. No layers, no bureaucracy.

• Prepare individual, business, and other tax returns using Pro Series
• Work in Quick Books to support client bookkeeping and tax prep
• Take on review responsibilities and client communication as you grow
• Help shape the future of the firm as it plans for succession

• 2+ years of public accounting tax experience (Associate and Senior level candidates welcome)
• Experience with Pro Series and Quick Books is a plus
• CPA or on the path to CPA preferred
• Someone self-motivated who wants to build something long term, not just punch a clock

• $80-100K base, depending on experience
• Monthly benefits contribution of $500 to $1,500 toward your coverage
• Hybrid and flexible schedule
