Transactions Analyst (loans/lease)
The Deal Operations Analyst is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational execution of domestic and international leasing and financing transactions. The position partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure transactions are structured, documented, funded, and recorded accurately and on schedule throughout the lifecycle of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Working knowledge of lease and loan structures, documentation, insurance requirements, lien perfection, and related tax considerations.
- Coordinate and manage lease and loan transactions from approval through closing, maintaining detailed closing plans aligned with approved terms and conditions.
- Serve as a central point of contact among customers, internal departments, financial institutions, service providers, escrow agents, and legal counsel to drive transactions to completion.
- Review, prepare, and validate final transaction documentation, including population of financial terms and regulatory filings.
- Verify completion of all required pre-funding conditions and obtain appropriate internal approvals prior to funding.
- Ensure operational readiness for each transaction, including payment processing and settlement logistics.
- Partner with Legal and other internal teams to support documentation development and completion of operational requirements such as insurance coordination.
- Establish and protect collateral positions in accordance with regulatory and internal standards, including domestic and international registration and lien perfection.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and process improvement projects as needed.
- Collaborate with asset management teams on lease terminations to confirm return conditions are satisfied, documentation is accurate, and required payments are received.
- Ensure accurate and timely booking of new transactions, amendments, returns, and asset sales in internal systems.
- Complete post-closing requirements, including regulatory filings, satisfaction of follow-up conditions, and compliance with lender documentation and storage standards.
- Distribute completed transaction files for final internal review and coordinate document retention and custody in accordance with established policies.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional credential with two to four years of experience in leasing, financial services, or a related field.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-through skills in a deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with the ability to assess requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders to meet transaction timelines.
- Proven customer service mindset with effective interpersonal abilities.
