Compensation Data
This position offers a base salary typically between $200,000 and $316,000. The position may be eligible for a role‑specific variable or performance‑based bonus, relocation and or other compensation elements.

The Director, Government Pricing & Compliance leads a high‑performing team responsible for the calculation, analysis, and reporting of all U.S. government pricing programs, ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulations. This role will oversee and manage all proposed policy rules coming from the government regarding lower drug pricing proposals, including but not limited to the recent CMMI demonstration projects and related Most Favored Nation (MFN) proposals.
This will include a leadership role within the global organization to guide on deliverables and interpretations of U.S. government pricing policy, nuances, deliverables, etc.
This role is integral to the Value & Access organization, overseeing government pricing and reporting, government program administration, compliance with all government program requirements and reporting. The Director serves as a strategic partner to Senior Leadership, Legal, Finance, Market Access, and Commercial teams, driving operational excellence, compliance, and innovation in government programs and pricing.
- Leadership & Team Development:
Lead, develop, and mentor the Government Pricing & Contract Compliance team, fostering a culture of compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee internal and outsourced teams responsible for government pricing calculations and methodologies. - Strategic Partnership & Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with Legal, Contract Operations, Value & Access, Commercial FP&A, and GTN to ensure data integrity, system accuracy, and alignment on pricing strategies. Provide government pricing impact assessments for GTN modeling, forecasting, accruals, bid assessments, and product launches. Represent Government Pricing in strategic pricing committees and cross‑functional initiatives. - Government Pricing & Reporting:
Direct all government price reporting calculations and submissions, including AMP, BP, Non‑FAMP, FCP, ASP, 340B, FSS, VA, and related programs. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to CMS, VA/DoD, and state Medicaid agencies. Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation (e.g., Reasonable Assumptions, SOPs, calculation checklists). Serve as subject matter expert on federal pricing regulations and methodologies. Ensure all proposed policy rules coming from the government regarding lower drug pricing proposals, including the recent CMMI demonstration projects and related MFN proposals are implemented to the highest quality. - Compliance & Controls:
Ensure full compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, VA Healthcare Act, MFN, and all relevant pricing regulations. Maintain and update policies in response to business or regulatory changes, partnering with Legal and external counsel as needed. Support audits, litigation responses, and maintain a strong controls environment. - System & Process Enhancement:
Drive enhancements to pricing methodologies, automation tools, and dashboards to improve accuracy, efficiency, and executive reporting.
