Job DescriptionDuties & Responsibilities:
- • Routine molecular biology tasks such as PCR-based cloning, construct design, site-directed mutagenesis, expression vector engineering etc.,
- • Expertise in DNA sequence analysis softwares
- • Cell assay development and testing of antibodies in such assays
- • Independently presents/defends scientific findings in project team or Department meetings
- • Actively participates in cross-functional teams/initiatives
- • Designs and executes non-routine experiments with minimal supervision
- • Independently analyzes and interprets experimental results
- • Independently proposes, follows up and troubleshoots scientific experiments
- • Demonstrates technical expertise as well as the ability to train colleagues
- • Independently writes protocols, SOPs, technical reports
Desired Experience,
Skills and Abilities:
- • Demonstrated knowledge of Molecular Biology techniques, hands-on experience with state-of-the-art tools like high-throughput construct design, ‘seamless cloning’ etc.,
- • Demonstrated knowledge of Cell Biology techniques such as reporter cell assays, primary cell assays, assays for cell proliferation and apoptosis.
- • Preclinical development of antibody biotherapeutics in an industrial setting
Requirements:
- • BS degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related discipline plus at least 5+ years experience or Masters Degree plus at least 3+ experience (preferably in industry setting)
- • Hands-on experience in Molecular Biology techniques such as PCR-based cloning, construct design and sequence analysis
- • Hands-on experience in Cell Biology techniques such as reporter cell assays, primary cell assays, assays for cell proliferation and apoptosis.
- • Apply knowledge of basic theory and scientific principles
- • Concise and accurate reporting of technical data and information
- • Ability to troubleshoot and multi-task
- • Ability to work in team-oriented environment
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eligibility Requirements:
- • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
- • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
- • Must be 18 years of age or older
