The Role
The People & Culture Specialist is a key partner in creating an exceptional employee experience king closely with the Director of People & Culture, this role helps build the processes, programs, and day-to-day support that make our workplace feel connected, consistent, and people-centered. The ideal candidate brings positive energy, strong organization, and a passion for helping employees thrive at every stage of their journey.
Key Responsibilities Onboarding & Offboarding- Design and manage structured onboarding and offboarding programs that create a positive experience for employees.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure new hires have everything they need from day one.
- Prepare exit processes that reflect respect and professionalism.
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
- Organize events, surveys, and feedback loops to keep our culture strong and inclusive.
- Track engagement metrics and recommend improvements based on data and employee input.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity.
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring compliance and timely support.
- Support policy updates and help communicate changes effectively.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and internal policies.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation for compliance purposes.
- Serve as a resource for employee questions and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
- Help troubleshoot issues and elevate concerns when necessary.
- Collaborate on initiatives that enhance the employee experience, from wellness programs to process improvements.
- Bring fresh ideas to the table and help us innovate how we support our people.
- Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience (internships included) OR 2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills - you know how to connect and build trust.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Positive energy and a passion for creating a great workplace.
