C Spire is looking for a new contractor to fill the Optical Design role (formerly the Fiber Design tech).

• Follow structured training and documentation with precision and consistency
• Use Microsoft Excel for basic data entry, tracking, and organization
• Collaborate with team members to ensure design accuracy and compliance
• Support design troubleshooting by applying critical thinking and asking insightful questions
• Demonstrate critical thinking when encountering design challenges
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and high-pressure situations
• Utilize computer systems and software tools to manage telecom operations and reporting

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., spreadsheets, formatting)
• Foundational understanding of OSP construction drawings and terminology
• Strong ability to retain and apply training materials
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and seek clarification when needed
• Reliable, detail-focused, and committed to continuous improvement
