Multi- Skilled Carpenter

Overview

ACE Handyman Services Madison Flowood is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Craftsman to join our growing team. This W‑2 position offers an 8‑4 schedule with biweekly pay and benefits. It is a full‑time, entry‑level role that requires people who are creative, problem‑solvers with strong craftsmanship skills and excellent customer‑service orientation.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of home repair and improvement tasks across multiple trades. Your days will be unique and may include:

• Pressure washing, painting, drywall repairs, caulking, light landscaping, insulation, fencing repairs, replace faucets, replace garbage disposals, hang pictures/mirrors/art, move furniture
• Light plumbing, finish carpentry, light electrical, install flooring, deck repair, paint/stain refinishing, hang/tape/finish drywall, replace/install fencing, gutter cleaning, hang holiday lights, roof work/replace shingles & boots
• Plumbing skills including cartridge replacement, electrical skills including ceiling fan/light new wiring, handle multi‑day projects like painting & flooring installs, tile backsplash installs, measure for and install doors and windows, deck repairs, upgrades and builds, handle tile backsplash installs or tile flooring, estimate, design and build decks, handle multi‑day projects upgrading bathrooms & kitchens

• Craftsman I – $25/hr (small trades)
• Craftsman II – $27/hr (additional plumbing/electrical knowledge)
• Craftsman III – $30/hr (plumbing/electrical skills, multi‑day project handling)
• Craftsman IV – $35/hr (full plumbing/electrical skills, oversight and training)

• Experience in trades, specifically carpentry / construction / remodeling
• Own an extensive set of tools to support your craft
• Take pride in the quality of your work
• Friendly, positive, customer‑focused attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient with technology (tablet application software – Service Titan)
• Ability and willingness to follow processes
• Suitable vehicle (truck or van)
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Basic math skills
• Passing a background check and drug screening
