3. Program Director Location Ridgewood  YMCA
* Staff and Volunteer Development
** Hire, train, develop, supervise, and evaluate both part-time and full-time staff.
* Conduct regular staff meetings and provide professional development opportunities.
* Maintain certifications, facilitate/attend YMCA training sessions, and all necessary branch leadership team meetings and Board program committee meetings as required.
* Financial Management
** Program Experience
** Demonstrate the YMCA values when interacting with staff, program members, volunteers, city and government agencies, community partners, and members of the community.
* Oversee and monitor transactions regarding After school, Camp, YSAM, Teens, and other payments within Salesforce and/or AS400.
* Respond to all inquiries presented in person, via phone calls, emails, and on the website to create a positive participant and member experience.
* Represent the Branch at necessary program cabinets (i.e, YAS, Teen, etc.).
* Successfully maintain and continue to improve the quality of all Youth and Family programs.
* Become a certified trainer in at least two (2) youth areas and lead training events.

Skills & Experience:

*** Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent experience required. Must include at least 15 credits in education, child development, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred.
* Two (2) - four (4) years of developing and implementing youth programs, staff training, and development.
* Knowledge of Program Development, Staff Development, and Budget Management required.
* Knowledge and experience in budgeting and public policy are a plus.
* Experience in SACC/CAMIS Licensing procedures.
* Knowledge of youth/adolescent growth and development.
* Computer literate. Knowledge of AS400 and Salesforce is a plus.
* CPR, First Aid, or RTE Trainer credentials preferred.
* Ability to handle multiple activities.

The Ridgewood YMCA is seeking a Program Director who will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director in leading the day-to-day operations at the Ridgewood YMCA. Specific areas of responsibility will include managing a program portfolio, encompassing all Youth and Family, Teen, YSAM, and off-site funded programs, as well as supervising the Program Coordinator. The Program Director will be responsible for the overall development, administration, strategic planning, supervision, and evaluation of these departments.

They will focus on maintaining a high-quality program while raising additional funds to expand the program to meet the needs of the community.

* * Program Development and Execution
** Plan, develop, and promote new and innovative programs, activities, and special events that meet the needs of the community in alignment with the Branch's priorities, goals, objectives, and strategic plan.
* Adhere to all Department of Health Regulations and Procedures. Complete all monthly reports and program outcome reports. Maintain registration, attendance, surveys, and comply with YMCA of Greater New York, Department of Education, Department of Health, and DYCD requirements and standards.
* Successfully meet and manage budget objectives.
* Prepare and monitor program budgets, payroll, and other fiscal tasks as required.
* Monitor purchase and inventory of program equipment/supplies.
