STEM Tutor

Tutor Doctor New Jersey, a locally owned tutoring company serving our community for more than 13+ years, is seeking knowledgeable and engaging STEM Tutors to support middle-school and high-school students across a range of math and science subjects. We are looking for tutors who can deliver strong academic support, adapt to individual learning needs, and help students build confidence in challenging coursework.

• Provide one-to-one tutoring in STEM subjects (Math, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.).
• Support students with homework, test preparation, concept mastery, and study strategies.
• Tailor instruction to each student’s learning style and academic goals.
• Maintain clear communication and timely session reporting.

• Strong subject-matter expertise in math and/or science.
• Experience tutoring or teaching students in STEM subjects.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Comfortable working with middle-school and high-school students.
• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions in the Ridgewood area; limited virtual opportunities may be available.
