The Village of Ridgewood, Bergen County, NJ, is seeking a full-time Water Superintendent for Ridgewood Water. Under the Direction of the Director and Deputy Director/Licensed Operator of Ridgewood Water, the successful candidate will:
On occasion, the Superintendent may be required to work after scheduled hours to supervise work or attend meetings. The full job specification is available on the NJ Civil Service Local Title Listing .nj.gov/jobspec/04294.htm.
The candidate should have a minimum five (5) years of experience in the maintenance, operation and repair of a water distribution and/or water treatment system, three (3) years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity, and a minimum T2 and W2 water licenses, and track toward T4/W4 and future licensed operation of the utility.
The salary range is $75,000 to $180,000, commensurate with education, licensing and experience.
