Position Summary
This position will support the management and drug order preparation of patients requiring Home Infusion Pharmacy Medications. Providing coordination of care with the Pharmacist, Nurse, patients and Delivery services. Creating drug, supply and equipment orders in the computer system. Preparing sterile products, picking and packing orders in preparation for delivery. Critical to this position is a person who is able to establish strong and credible relationships with patients, clinicians and internal pharmacy staff in a data driven and collaborative team environment.
Must be able to work as a member of a close-knit team both in the clinic and in the broader pharmacy structure.
- High school diploma required.
- College course preferred.
- Pharmacy technician registered and certified required.
- Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician Certification preferred.
- Sterile compounding experience.
- Home Infusion pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- Experience with patient care coordination and excellent customer service skills are required.
- Strong customer service skills and independent problem solving is a requirement.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask /change tasks frequently and quickly.
- Knowledge of drug products and sterile compounding.
- Insurance verification and prior authorization experience preferred.
- Knowledge of requirements of USP 797/800 and states regulations.
- Competent with home infusion software and TPN compo under preferred.

Pay Range: $24.74 - $30.93 (per hour)
