- Model professionalism and leadership, serving as a resource for all clinic staff.
- Monitor skill levels and educational needs to improve staff performance and consistency.
- Creates and delivers ongoing training for both new hires and current staff to enhance patient interaction and clinic processes.
- Works actively with Clinic Leadership to propose and organize regular training sessions and suggest process improvements.
- Collaborates with leadership to assess training needs, timing, and appropriateness.
- Collaborate with the Education Team and Clinic Leadership to identify skill development needs and design relevant curriculum.
- Create, assign, and track annual competencies for clinic staff.
- Ensure staff maintain up-to-date licenses and certifications according to policy.
- Support additional educational needs as directed by the Education team.
- Maintain current BLS Provider certification and obtain BLS Instructor certification within one year of hire.
- Preferred qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant. - Must have a current American Heart Association approved BLS card within 3 months of initial employment.
- Must maintain current BLS certification throughout employment at Grand River Health Main Campus.
- Medical Assistant experience is required.

- Pay Range: $35.00 - $41.00/hour (based on experience)
- Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
