We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the cleanliness and quality of our linens, uniforms, and other laundry items. Your work will contribute to the overall comfort and well‑being of our patients and staff.

• Performs manual work involving the operation of laundry equipment and assists in laundry record keeping.
• Washes and dries linens, uniforms and other laundry for Grand River Hospital District (GRHD).
• Work includes but is not limited to: marking, ironing, folding, transporting, delivering and repairing clothing and linen.
• Ensures all laundry is clean and disinfected. Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of washer, dryer, ironer, and all laundry chemicals and detergent.
• Must wear proper PPE when necessary.
• Cross trains with other members of the Environmental Services team.
• May at times be required to work shifts in Housekeeping Department. Sometimes may need to assist cleaning in public areas including but not limited to bathrooms, resident rooms, and common areas.

• One‑year experience in a similar position preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean DMV record required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Pay Range: $16.00 - $21.30/hour (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials:$2–$4/hour for nights and weekends

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
