As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repair within the Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets. You will use commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by performing work according to Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in A/C and Refrigeration.
• Completion of a 2‑year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or a 2‑year associate’s of applied science in A/C and refrigeration.
• Excellent driving record.
• Prior work experience with glycol and CO₂ systems.

• Hourly wage range: $26.00–$51.00.
