• Comply with all company policies, programs, and directives as specified by management and in the Team Member Manual.
• Achieve Certification of Courtesy Clerk through orientation, certification, online training, and continued development.
• Participate in goal setting and performance evaluation to further skills and engagement.
• Deliver excellent guest service by greeting, assisting, and responding to guest needs, promoting Broulim’s image and building loyalty.
• Maintain strong working relationships with other departments to ensure smooth flow of products and service throughout the store, improving sales store‑wide.
• Bag guests’ purchases promptly and efficiently with proper guidelines; review “BOB” Bottom of Basket for each order and deliver items to customers’ vehicles courteously.
• Keep parking lot clear of carts, return them to proper store locations, follow safety policies for cart retrieval, and maintain cart cleanliness.
• Assist with price checks, go‑backs, replenishing supplies, and handling requests for dry ice as directed.
• Be familiar with product locations throughout the store and be aware of weekly ad items.
• Promote morale and respect within the department and store through honest, open communication and professional conduct.
• Perform general housekeeping and "sweep sheet" duties with focus on the front entry, restrooms, grocery floor, and parking lot, promptly attending to spills, wet spots, and litter.
• Ensure company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained.

• Ability to read, interpret, and apply instructions, policies, and procedures, whether written or oral.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and listening ability, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Receptive to constructive review and accountable for personal success.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Integrity, a positive attitude, mission‑driven style, and self‑direction aligned with Broulim’s Mission.
• Minimum Age: 16.

• Physical requirements:
  
  standing, walking, carrying < 25 lbs., occasional lift; no significant physical limitations.
