Mar Tech Data Engineering Lead (Customer Data Platform) Interim Full Time
For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Lead Data Engineer (Customer Data Platform)
The Data Engineering Lead helps build our Mar Tech platform. Data is the foundation that drives all our Mar Tech use cases. As Engineering Lead, you will shape the data engineering and integration strategy. You will work closely with business users, data analysts, and data scientists to understand use cases, and collaborate with architecture to translate them into solutions for engineers to implement.
CDP & Customer Data Platforms
5+ years of experience working with a Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
Proven experience defining customer identity, profile unification and audience strategies.
Strong understanding of customer data activation and omnichannel marketing ecosystems.
Experience with CDPs which have a flexible/open schema is a plus.
Data Architecture & Engineering
Solid understanding of:
Customer identity resolution
Data quality frameworks
Event-driven architectures
API-based integrations
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Google GCP
Technical Leadership & integration
Experience leading (engineering) teams
Experience translating business requirements into solutions for teams to implement
Ability to interact with business users and architecture
Experience integrating CDPs with:
Customer Engagement solutions
Ability to working together with and challenge vendors and review technical designs
Soft Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong ownership and accountability.
Commitment to teamwork and Agile ways of working.
Ability to work in complex international environments.
